Before & After School Clubs and Activities

Before & After School Sports Clubs

I’m sure many of you will be pleased to hear that as of Monday 10th September until Friday 14th December we will be running a number of before school and after school sports clubs, as well a range of lunchtime sporting activities. We are really keen to get more children participating in sport this year and are looking for children who would also like to represent the school in both football and netball. Priority will be given to year 5 & 6 children to represent the school in the inter-school fixtures – (these usually take place on a Thursday after school). We would like to invite anyone within the year groups specified to join in and take part and you never know, if there are spaces available, your child may be invited to be part of the school team!

Signing up should be done through the club bookings option on School Gateway (with the exception of Tuesdays Foundation Sports Coaching and Thursday lunchtime Tiger Cheer cheerleading) for all early morning clubs and after school clubs, you do not need to sign your child up for the lunchtime clubs. Please note that you must select each week on the booking system to confirm your child’s place (by selecting one week this will not confirm the space for the whole term). Spaces will be limited.

You and your child will need to complete the fair play charter, this can be downloaded from school website or paper copies are available from the school office. If you don’t have access to the internet please come and see us in the office and we will be happy to book your child a space.

Finally, please do not arrive before 8am when dropping children off for the morning clubs, there will be no-one here to supervise the children until 8am. Children in Year 1 to Year 4 should be bought into the reception area and not dropped off outside the school gates.

Yours sincerely

Mrs R Jones
